Hi all, and happy August! I realized I gave this update on tumblr but not here. I wanted to give an update on Chapter 4 since this one is taking longer than usual.
Chapter 4 is currently at 22k words and only about halfway complete. This one is a doozy. To give you a frame of reference, Chapters 1 and 2 were each 25k, and Chapter 3 was 30k.
You will need to start a new playthrough. This update has some new code and rewrites that will break your saves. Tellus’s relationship bar, for example, won’t work on a saved game. I also removed the option to NOT accept the beads from Tellus, so the code around any scenes involving the beads won’t work in a saved game. I also added Tellus to the bonfire scene, you’ll want to replay just for that! You now have to speak to everyone before that scene advances. Everyone gives you useful information so it made sense to fix that.
I have another family vacation planned end of August, as well as a business trip planned in September. I anticipate releasing Chapter 4 in late October. See you then, and thank you for following along with this story! ❤️

it’s currently 4 am and I spent the better part of the last what 2 hours reading this fic and getting utterly enthralled by the story, I honestly was surprised when I reached the end lol. Anyway I’ve read your other story and absolutely adored that and now I’m eagerly awaiting the next chapter! That cliff hanger though! I can’t wait to see how this story progresses

Noo... I just finished entire thing while at hospital with a shitty phone, that has no memory for non-essential apps and now you are telling me, I'm gonna need to re-do the whole thing when the next chapter comes out?
That being said thank you so much for helping me kill time here, much appreciated. The only things I can entertain myself with are things I can play in phone browser.
