Hello! The circumstances of the Iredicci are based on several different persecuted groups in history, most notably Native Americans but yes, Romani, too. Unfortunately, we have no shortage of such groups in history. :(
Culture wise, the Iredicci are a bit of a hodge podge of Italian, Romani, Hawaiian, and Persian.
I specifically picked up on the Native American stuff, in addition to the Romani; I'm glad I wasn't wrong in noticing that. Feels nice to have that given how rare it is. Really don't see much based on Native Americans
As someone who loves art, this game is everything to me, and writing like yours is what fuels me to write my own stories. I can't wait for future updates :]
Also your other game Viatica was so interesting and it had me locked in completely that I ended up finishing the entire game earlier today!
Okay back to your writing, it really does inspire me so much. I just want to replay your games because I adore analyzing any form of art because it's so beautiful and so human and it's basically my life, but there's only a few that really stand out to me, maybe a specific art style or melody, or your writing. I hope you never stop writing, because what you create is amazing.

Pretty intriguing start! I've gotta say I've never seen this concept before. It's fun.
Some minor things that I think would make the game even better are tweaks in the character sheet. It feels awkward to see my trans chara's birth sex listed as 'bodytype' (I say it's just an unnecessary line there, the pronouns are enough), plus I'd really love it if we could see MC's age listed there for each time period as the time jumps can get a little confusing.
Either way, I hope your passion for this project never wanes! I hope to see it finished one day :)

OMG I JUST FOUND MY LOST PHONE AGAIN TO SEE CANTATA CHAPTER TWO IS OUT OMG?? Choosing my animal friend is soo hard cause I feel like fox matches fire but ferrets are my favoriteee + I’m kicking my feet ans giggling with every interaction with Corinne

Hi! There are save files and they seem to be working. Are you saving in the slots or exporting your saves? On a phone, press the hamburger in the circle, top right; you should see them there.
By far one of my favorite text adventure games :D Eva is by far my favorite character, but Callie is in a SUPER close second. Everyone is so easy to get attached to, and even the side characters seem like real people. I see several parallels between Iredicci and modern marginalized groups (particularly Native Americans), and I think the social commentary is handled really well :p Sooo excited for the next chapter!!

Honestly one of my only complaints(the rest is just personal nitpicks that doesn't affect the story at all) is not having the option to be close to Evelyn but not call her sister. Like. My family(in the game) is dead. I'm not keen on replacing them.
I just found this demo, and this game is AMAZING. I'm a long-time lover of text-based games like this, but this was like next level. The story, the world-building, not to mention the music changing with each page, it's all so incredible. You can really see the hard work that went into this. I look forward to what's coming next.
